Adveractive's
relationship with Shockwave.com began in
1999 when the original site (then named
Shockrave) launched with five Adveractive
games included in their initial group of
25 or so games. In the years since, Shockwave.com
has turned to Adveractive several times
to create some of the most technically challenging
Shockwave pieces in their entertainment
lineup.
Adveractive wrote, produced, designed and
delivered one of the first epic, CD-ROM
style games for delivery over the net, Merlin's
Quest. This was launched by Shockwave.com
in the Fall of 1999. In 2000, Adveractive
created the Shockwave Baseball and
the Shockwave Crosswords games for
Shockwave.com. All three of these games
remain high on Shockwave.com's popularity
lists and draw significant traffic to this
major entertainment site.
